I just erased & re-loaded the SL program and now I can't get it to start! When I click on the shortcut, it "checks hardware" & looks like it is about to go to the log-in window, but then it shuts down. No error report or anything is given, so I have no idea what is happening. I'm not very computer saavy, so please explain this to me in simple terms. I did go to my firewall settings and made sure that my computer isn't blocking SL. Please help!! I haven't been able to get online for several days and now this happens!  ( |

apparently my settings were for windows 95... I switched them to windows NT and everything seems to work now!  |

( I have exactly the same problem after i reinstalled SL. Are you using Windows Vista and a ATI graficcard? If yes, it may be a problem with the drivers. |
