I am french, using of course a french AZERTY keyboard, with W2000 in french version
Using SL, i have big problems to use some chars, like $,:,),(,{,}....almost the chars wich are not a-z or 1-9
Seems only a part of the keyboard respects the standard, it is very annoying for chat, script

I am Engilish. I have been saying the same thing about the UK keyboard for the 9 months I have been in SL.
All I can say is don't hold your breath while waiting.

Hi, Ive been playing in France for a while. From a pragmatic point of view, the easiest thing to do is to configure your keyboard in US English before starting SL.
Salut, ca fait quelque temps que je joues en France au fait. Le plus facile, c'est peutetre de setter le clavier en "US-English" puis de memoriser les touches anglaises. Pas ultra-facile mais ca marche...
