given this:

IE flaw may boost rival browsers

LL should redesign the webpages so people can get to the auction pages with their security setting set to high.

Or you can just use firefox, which is in every way superior. I'm on my pocketPC now, and it makes me wish for Firefox.

changing browsers is one of the recommendations of cert. and while i think it's a good idea. it would still be nice to support ie. (somehow that sounds ironic. :)

I don't know if this is possible. Last time I checked, setting IE's security to "high" disabled some fairly fundamental features of web pages.

Supporting IE usually means supporting IEs warped feature set, which means either writing two versions of each page (and the css), or breaking it for all other browsers.

Standards... MS heard of them once, but thought they were something eother people did to be like them.

It states in IE when you turn your Internet settings to High that it's the safest way to browse, but also the least functional.

Well, safest while using IE at least, which isn't saying a lot really.

What type of error messagea are you getting His Grace when you go to the auction site? I've turned my security settings to high and have no problem accessing the site. Are you trying to place a bid?
