Well I just got a new laptop, ATI radeon 4500 series video card, and now when I try to move in SL or look at myself at certain angles random thick spikes come out of my hair and into infinity. I'd post a screenie but... This is my first forum post and apparantly I cant post attachments.

Sort of a hard to describe problem... if anyone has had the same please help.

Disable OpenGL Vertex Buffer Objects. In SL, go to the Edit menu, Preferences, Graphics, click Hardware Options and uncheck the box for Enable VBO. That should take care of it.
