Scripts not running anymore

System info: Packard bell D7000 NL desktop PC with Pentium Dual Core ES 200, 2,50 Ghz, 4000 RAM, Nvidia 120GT with 1024 dedicated memory, Vista 64 bits.

Since I got this new compy and after installing the newest SL client there are a few nasty glitches:

* Avatar animations don't work anymore. Well, they work doubleclicking an animation in the inventory and chosing play in world, but NOT when sitting on furniture with built in animations. (so it must be the script and not the animation, no?)
* Rezzing animated textured prims keep the textures animated, but after copying a prim with anim texture will stop the animation and I can't get it to work by resetting the script, set running etc.
* on new prims with hovering text script: no hovering text :( (the old ones hover nicely). Tried making a small change in the script and save, resetting: nada.

Just logged into SL with my husband's computer and had the same trouble (he is running XP on an older machine), no matter if I logged in as Lendl Aero or logging in as my husband.

So.... I'm running out of ideas :( And I was so enthusiastically setting up my store with furniture...... animated of course.........

Searching for a knight on a white horse (or black) coming to the rescue :)

It could be a permissions mismatch. Is it group land? If yes and scripts are limited to group, is the furniture and other scripted stuff set to that group? Before server 1.26 (this really sounds more like a sim or land settings problem than a viewer problem), unset objects would sometimes work if the object's owner was in the sim at the time, but that no longer happens.

Wow, Viktoria, you are FAST!! :)
Hmm, it IS group land, but the scripts and object are not set to group, so I can't see how that could be the problem.

But it might be a good idea asking the estate owner to reset the land...

To be continued....... ;)

If the objects are _not_ set to group, that would be the potential problem. Try setting one of the objects to the same group as the land (don't need to deed or share, just set) and see if that cures it.
