Hello All, I am having major troubles building on my land. The land properties shows 66 out of 234 objects and when I try to make something I get the can't do it the land is full junk. If I go check the land proterites and try again it lets me make 2 ot 3 objects then says it is full again. I am building on an elevated strucure of 4 10x10 paltes.
I have only been playing for a week and am nearing my frustration level.
Anyone else seen this? Is this due to data streaming issues? Is there something I can do to fix it? Is this a known bug? Is this something that Linden Labs can or will fix?
Thanks

This is a very unique bug. I've never heard of it before. I suggest (If you haven't already) you report a bug--I'm sure the Lindens can help you out with it. Good luck, don't be too frustrated, it'll get fixed!

If you are up high in the sky, make sure you aren't slipping over the boarder of your land. Your neighbor may not have any room left.
We need a way to tell what parcel an object is on from the edit menu...

I've had this happen rather a lot on group owned land of mine...which is why I've taken it all away from my group. I have a feeling that this is not your difficulty.
I've also had difficulties rezzing objects high up in the air. From what you say it sounds as if you might be eighty meters up. I'm not sure if this is enough to influence it, but I've seen it happen to others around that altitude. I've had it happen to re from time to time at 650 meters.

This may be a known bug. It seems that if a line drawn from your viewpoint through the point at which you are trying to create something extends to a neighbor's land, you get a false "parcel is full" message. Try constructing while looking straight down at your land.

Wow! I've never heard that one...
Gnome, I like Carnildo Greenacre's idea better.

Thanks for the tips, Carnildo Greenacre's idea seems close. I tried using different put down angles and it seemed random. The really odd thing is that today is didn't happen! For now, I'll just hope it doesn't come back, can't report a non repeatable bug. Thanks

I know that for me, churn is a major issue. I have my Timeplunge theme park ride set up in Olive (45,45) and it heavily uses llRezObject to create the sets you travel through. I have 350 or so prims still available to me on my land when the ride is idle, and I never have that many prims rezzed during operation. In fact, the largest sets are all set Temporary on Rez. ...BUT, when the ride is running, there are times when I get the "you don't have enough prims" error. It was VERY bad at first, but I increased the delays between sets, or had the car stay a bit longer at each set, so the server had time to recycle the deleted prims for further use. But though it is now better, it still gives me that error from time to time. Probably more than I know since I am only told about it if I am online. With the Temporary on Rez flag set, the items should not count against my limits, and should self-delete if i leave the sim or they delete themselves in the normal course of the ride's scripts. But while my available prims number in the About Land window doesn't go up, I will STILL get that error if the ride runs too fast. I should be able to rez every set at once like that! Further, if I trigger the rez of a set when he ride isn't running (so the script that deletes it isn't running) it will still derez after about a minute... With me right there standing ON it. That's not how Temporary on Rez is supposed to work, as far as I know. Any Linden answer to this? Are these bugs or undocumented features of the system?
