my work computer does not have sound card drivers installed. I get a message when trying to run SL about a missing DLL. Is there something I can change so I dont need to use the DYnamic Sound Library?

i think its actually askin you basically to install directsound aka a sub-component of the later directX builds... try hittin windows update and gettin the latest version of directX, that should install the files you need, sound card or no
