I had a problem with Avatar Vertex before with avatars apearing to be "slimed" with a orange ectoplasm like substances (think ghostbusters). With 1.2.3 it seems to be gone, this is weird and i'm not going to give up alot of hope as I haven't done extensive testing yet, but if it is fixed, Yay! and Thanks LL! Anyone else notice it being fixed for them?

However it isn't completely fixed, there is still "frosting" around avatar's hair alphas, and faces still go black and/or dark red at certain levels of zooming, other than that it appears to work :)

Hopefully I won't be back with "its not fixed *cry*" for now I'm all "Yay!" :D

An update, it seems having Avatar Vertex on royally messes up my GUI (puts weird highlights on the UI graphics). So thats one problem down, but another arising to make me not use it again. lol.

It was working fine for me.

But now its broken in this new version.

I know its SL, not my ATI 9700 video card because I haven't changed drivers or anything, just SL.

Peoples arms and legs go crazy and people turn into folded polygon pretzels and their head stays behind when they move leaving empty hole under their hair, and ... well, you get the idea. Its bad. People turn into praying mantis stickmen.

If I turn vertex programs off, it works, but come on, one thing I don't want to hear is 'oh its ati's video card drivers' or something like that on this one. ;p

I had my Avs face turn black. I have a GF4 4600Ti and did not have the latest drivers since we were told in the past nut to have the latest.

Everyone else sees my black face too so I don't see how it's my drivers or card.

I was advised to update my drivers, and I did.. but my face is still black and everyone else still sees it.

Yes, its reported.
