Odd error message.

After hours I got this error, "The system has logged you out, you may attempt to log back in."... I thought, "okay, what's exactly happening here? Ive never gotten this b4." I also thought that maybe you guys had increased the hours we could log on at. I tryed logging back on and got the error "Second life is not open at this time..." blah blah blah. So whats the deal?

The key word in that error message is "attempt". It doesn't guarantee that you'll be able to log back just, just gives you permission, if you will, to attempt to do so =)

The info message came from the client itself -- not from the server -- and the client itself doesn't know when the login hours are, so (I'm totally pulling all this outta the air, btw) so the client tells you that you may attempt to log back in, rather than going into some long winded discussion admitting that it has no idea if you'll be able to log back in again or not.

Now, aren't you glad I don't write the SL error/info messages? =)
