I tried teleporting to home and just sat there with the teleport message up and thats it. I shutdown SL and tried to re-enter. When trying to reconnect I keep getting a "Connecting to region" window up and it just sits there.

I am actually getting the stuck connecting to region also. I haven't been able to get onto SL tonight. I saw the post about the logging in bug in Announcements but it said nothing about getting stuck at connecting to region.

Same problem here Dave. I think that Hawthorne was just the first visible region for us to see crash.. Shipley probably went shortly thereafter when we were getting all the lag. Dunno why it isn't just porting us to the nearest available 'safe point' or whatever. ;P

Yeah, Welsh was down for a while (along with Clyde, Hawthorne, and Shipley off and on).

We encountered a brand new bug tonight that could bring down multiple sims. I was able to bring them back up, but it took a while and I had to kick people out of the eastern hemisphere of the world for a while.

Sorry about the inconvenience

I actually had this problem yesterday (I think)... it was either yesterday or thursday evening. After two or three relogs, I was able to reconnect fine.
