Logged out due to sim issues???

Why do I keep getting logged off "due to sim issues" when no one else in the sim gets logged out???

Sim name is Blue Blazes. This is happening more and more frequently and there is nothing wrong with my connection. If just again happened a few minutes ago and I checked with the other people in the sim and no one else had been logged out.

How can you be sure you are not having a connection issue?

The sim is having the isuues. This happens at least twice a week in my mainland sim where the bots pile up one on top of the other on Linden Land until the sim is full. After 30 hours of this constant server abuse - it restarts itself and the cycle begins again.

I owned a computer shop before Katrina devastated the econony and forced me to close the door. I know when I am having connection issues or computer issues.

This is a new sim and there are no bots here. And if the server restarts itself then the other people in the sim would be logged out as well, not just me.

oh just YOU. Well it sounds like your internet is having bandwidth issues.

I"m not going to say this again. I am NOT having bandwidth issues or any other issues with my connection. End of story.

Don't let the trolls ruffle your feathers. Many of my friends in SL are having issues right now too. Avatars won't render, prims won't delete, unable to teleport, etc. Hang in there. The Lindens will clear it up sooner or later.

LOL! The trolls don't bother me. I'm no stranger to forum trolls... some of the worst can be found on the skiffy boards where they've tried for years to run me off. *grins*

The issues you mentioned are issues that have been on going since before I became a resident over 4 years ago. Nothing unusual there and I gave up hoping they would ever truly fix those issues. Including the lovely rubberband effect. lol

I just thought it rather strange that I was the only one being logged off in the sim and getting the message saying it is due to sim issues and to check my connection. Thing is this has happened when my other half has been in world at the same time (in the same sim of course and on the same connection) and he was never logged off. Another nail in the "it's your connection" coffin.

So... if anyone else is having the same issue please post it here and include what you were doing at the time it happened. Maybe we will see a pattern and it will help LL solve the issue (if they ever get a round tuit). Each time it has happened to me I was building and had the edit window open or had just closed it. Probably isn't connected but you never know with SL.... lol

They would do thier usual thing of blaming everything on my end for the problem like they always do. And guess what? The problem has never been on my end. There is over 30 years of experience with computers in this household. Things are checked out on this end before anything else is looked at. Always.

Btw... if I thought you were a troll I'd never bother with making a reply. If you had read my intial post thoroughly, you would have seen that I stated it was logging only me off to begin with and that there was nothing wrong with my connection. Sometimes people do know what they are talking about.
