new distance limit on linked prims

I just finished a simple experiment, trying to link 2 simple boxes, and have discovered that any distance over 4.35 meters won't link.

This is going to make re-assembling some objects that have been created/linked pre-1.4 impossible.

Is anyone else seeing this?

the lindens have said previously that it tends to be abit size dependant... aka two 10x10x10 cubes will link out at 30m... smaller things will link progressively smaller distances. for 0.5m cubes (default creation tool size) it may very well be around 5m
