So, i'm visiting my parents for a few days, and their 'new' and frankly painfully slow computer (seriously, this is the SLOWEST machine i've EVER seen, and my first PC was a 286..) has been blessed with an intergrated Radeon xpress 200 card. Not the 'M' series one, just a standard Xpress200.

Now, I know its never going to rival the performance of my laptop with its monster ram and graphics card (WHY DIDNT I BRING IT WITH ME DOHHHHH)

But there must be SOME way to make this damn thing run SL - even if its just so I can log in and check my messages, do some basic stuff..

When I try and run SL, it says the video card / drivers are out of date/unsupported.

I'm updating the drivers now, and I'll try the firstlook client too, but just wondering, has anyone else had/got experience of one of these cards, and got it running SL?

Many thanks. Pray for me, VISTA SUCKS, and er, catch you on the metaphysical side..

yea ive seen some sucess stories about this craptastic card combined with the sheer cpu hogging vista OS

altho its not gonna be pretty

basicly do all the drivers, get them from the hardware manufacture, not dell or HP or whatever and cross your fingers
