found a bug when using the scripting language to scale an object. If you use the llSetScale, you can get objects that are much larger than the allowable 10m limit. I made a wall that was 160m long for example. hopefully you got to see it at the christmas gift exchange, since i gave one to bp

heh can't, you are limited by the size of the sim, or well, you could make one that goes straight up forever, i suppose, since the height restriction is lik 512k

Wouldn't work Orrey, the center of such an object woudl be 5,000 meters from the center of a sim and the sim would refuse to create an object so far away. The too-big objects bug has been fixed and rolled into the release already, cuz we really don't want very big objects in the world (and it was easy to fix). Thanks for finding it Nada... another medal for you (but alas, not another bug in the database with your name on it because it was fixed too fast
