Laggy building

Hi,
Although I was told others are having this problem I don't think it's as severe as mine. Whenever I attempt to build I always, always run into some lag problems.

For example: I create a prim and Shift+mouse click+drag to copy it. IT doesn't copy. Or, after about 4-7 seconds, it just drags to the new location that I move it and THEN coppies. Or it copies, but then decides to move back to its former location.
This happens with any manipulation of the prims- move, rotate ect.. I often have to do it several times for it to stick.

I also need to hit delete several times in order to delete a prim.

Another problem that should set me apart as having a unique problem. When I go to type a message, my avatar might now type at all. Then after about 10 seconds he'll choose to start the typing animation, but then stays in that typing animation until I send another message- so everyone thinks I am typing when I am not.

I have a good connection and am behind a router.

I appreciate any help with this!

Clear your cashe and reboot your router. Sounds like what I experience when my router needs to be power cycled (booted). Go to preferrences> network> clear cache. Okay the dialog box then quit the game. Shut down your computer then unplug your router (might as well do the modem too) for about 3 minutes. Plug them back in and when the lights settle down turn you computer back on and log back into SL...........see if that helps.
