Hello,
I hope I'm not going crazy here. For the past day or two, I've been having occasional weird lag issues where movements I'm making with my keys or chat messages I type happen several seconds later (as much as 15 or 20 seconds sometimes. This has been in a number of different sims. And now, this afternoon, SL has become almost unusable. I keep not being able to walk anywhere, chat messages don't come in, I can't TP anywhere, I just go dead and have to log out. I've logged into SL for like five times in the past half hour and I go dead almost immediately. I set myself to log into my home location thinking my previous location had gone screwy, but this is happening to me in any location.
Is anyone else having these kinds of problems all of a sudden?!?!
Thanks,
Jared

Check with your ISP. I know comcast has been having problems in my region.

Build rez times have seem to gone through the roof. My guess is that the single-point SL servers (e.g. asset server) are unable to handle the load of the huge increase in playerbase.
The net result for me is that I can fly and see through builds upon sim cross-over although I am set for 500kbps, have no packet loss and haven't seen such low transmit rates since forever. My ISP is well connected and is not a big name company that is known to be overloaded.
Indeed, this could be congestion on intermediate hops between me and LL, but then I would expect some packet loss.
Just another data point.
