Paid for outfit, never got it in my inventory

First, I want to apologize if this is a wrong place to post this. I didn't find any email adress or anything else where to report it, so I'm posting it here.

I was a moment ago in 'Fashion by Marlene' shop and I bought an item called 'MG Mrs St John's Vampire's Bride'. I paid 490L for it but I never got the item in my inventory. I logged out, went to search for known bugs, and then logged back to check my trash folder just in case I had pushed 'decline' by accident but it wasn't in my trash folder, either. The same thing happened to me earlier today with one corset in a place where I can pay 25L and get a random corset. I paid 25L and got nothing in return.

Any help regarding to this is much appreciated.

ADDENDUM: I believe the issue might be lag-related, cause I was lagging like no end in the moment I bought it.

Irina, this can happen once in a while, no fault of anyone in particular. Go back to where you purchased the item. Instead of right-clicking on the 'vendor' (the thing you clicked on to buy the merchandise) and selecting "pay", choose "edit". In the window that pops up, see who the owner of the vendor is, and then send that person a notecard (not an IM) explaining what happened. It sometimes helps if you can include the transaction number in your notecard (this you can find by looking up your account history), but may not be necessary. Usually merchants are quick to provide you with a replacement item.

That's good advice. Most merchants want their customers to be happy and understand that sometimes transactions go awry. Customers need to understand that, too, and that contacting the merchant should be their first step.

It can be a bit of a trauma when things don't go right, I know, but usually things get straightened out (and it's nice to meet people, too).

By the way, welcome to the forums :-D

Ooh, thanks :)

I already IMed to the owner, but then I went to play another game, so I haven't yet seen if she's replied to me. I'm so newbie that I was really paniced when it happened, and I had no idea what to do, but my friends told me to IM her. :)

A friend of a friend suggested the notecard idea, too, but I don't have a clue how to send notecards. I can barely manage sending an IM. :(

EDIT: I found the outfit today from my inventory. It had gotten into the folder of another outfit I also bought yesterday and it wasn't showing up in my recent items. Looks like the whole mess was just me being retarded. :(
