Hey!.
I just joined and I am a bit useless at this game so far. Anyway, THIS morning I was playing, then I got offered a teleport to somone. So I went. Next thing I know, i get this message: "*username* has frozen you for30 seconds, you cannot react or talk to other people" Or something simular then when that 30 seconds is up,he freezes me again. So I decide to add him to my friends list to ask him why hes doing that. He declines. Then it occured to me. MAybe he owns that land and has the right to freeze me. So I try and teleport out of there and it says "you cannot teleport right now" or "your teleports are disabled" or something like that my memory is terrible.
Now I had to restart the program. Logging back in now to see if it worked. But why did this happen? :(

These nice people are called griefers. They have fun getting on other peoples nerves. Write an abuse report. When logging in again, select your home as the spawning point.

As in RL, never accept offers from people you don't know.

A land owner can freeze an avatar as you described as well as eject and ban, but they shouldn't be freezing you for no reason unless they're just jacktards. If you don't know a person that offers you teleport, just decline and if you're curious, send them an IM and and ask why they offered teleport.

Hi Yuri, this is about your other thread that ended up in the classified section. People can't reply to you there.

Rather than start a whole new thread, the quick answer is that the casinos are gone, it's been almost exactly a year now actually. Here is the old blog entry.

Yuri, you just ran into a moron. Dont worry about it.

About the Add as Friend to IM. You don't have to add people as friend to IM them in SL. Unlike lots other places. You can IM anyone from their profile, or by right-clik their avatar. When I first came SL, I thought you had to Add to IM as well. Ended up with about 80 people in my first week. Click Add Hi ! Click Add Hi ! o well =)

Yuri, you said you're new in this thread, but in another thread, you asked where the Goldrush casino was, and that you use to play there ages ago. I know exactly who you are. Still trying to get the LULZ eh?
