Is Dore the cause of anyone else's crashes?

I was crashing over and over. I was flying around having a great time, was headed into Dore on my hoverboard and BANG. Crashed. When I got back, I could just see my hoverboard over a small hill in Dore. So I went to get it. It's CUSTOM!

I got near the border of Dore and CRASH. Came back in, did it again. Turned off every single video feature. No help. Many crashes - all as I headed for my board.

Then, I got a new avatar, came through Prelude, hung around the Welcome Center, la dee da dee da. Tick Tick Tick. Waaaiiit for it!.... Went for the board in Dore and crashed.

I think there is something there I cannot view without crashing. In fact, I tried flying in BACKWARD - so I only could see what I'd already flown over - and I only crashed when I got to the hill. It's the same hill my hoverboard was sitting over, btw. When I just saw the hill in my peripheral vision, I crashed again.

Go figure.
