Everything from my inventory is gone! I've spent quite a few Lindens to collect that stuff. Anyone experience this today? Everything was there this morning, but tonight it's gone. I'm filling out a complaint ticket and plan to ask for reimbursement from the Lindens.
SL is getting worse every day.
Thanks for letting me vent.

The normal starting point for this problem is to clear cache and log in to an relatively empty sim, one that you don't usually go to.
Control P for Preferences, the Network tab, click the Clear Cache button, exit and restart SL.

Your cache is located on your hard drive. Your inventory is located on Linden Lab's servers. Clearing your cache will not delete a thing in your inventory......only the cached copies of those inventory items.
If clearing your cache does not work for you then try deleting the cache folder completely. The location of that folder is shown on the network tab below the "clear cache" button. Note the location, log off and navigate to that folder........delete it. Next time you launch SL the folder well be rebuilt and any corrupted or damaged files will be removed and redownloaded from the Linden Lab servers. Your inventory should come back completely for you.

I recently thought I'd ameliorate my duplicate chat logs kept on different computers by using a jump drive. I figured "What the heck? I'll do my cache there as well" Bad Idea. I logged in shortly there after and saw my inventory down from 13,000 to under 6K. Needless to say I freaked! Resetting the cache to the normal hard drive alleviated the missing inventory problem. Lesson: Don't mess with the cache.
