Can´t take pictures or upload

Hi, i´m using vista and have the notebook Acer Aspire 8920. I´ve downloaded and installed the secondlife download. But now everytime i´m trying to take a picture and save on my PC or try to upload a picture or something else i crash. Can anybody tell me what i can do to fix that problem? Thx and Greetings Dania!
