Hello.....have recently decided to give SL another go. Was just too addictive...lol
But getting an error message when trying to teleport. It says....
We are unable to process your teleport request. You may have to log back in..before you can teleport. I looked in the knowledge database...and tried all the tips there..even temporarily disabling my firewall completely.....but still am stuck in "help island" Any suggestions...? Thanks,

Accidentally solved the problem with teleporting.. Went to a billboard in Help island and clicked on one of the advertisers....and was able to teleport there...now can go to any location. hope this helps anyone with the same problem

Error: Could not teleport

I am getting an error message when trying to teleport. It says....
"Could not teleport. Sorry, but the system was unable to complete your teleport request in a timely fashion. Please try again in a few minutes” I looked in the knowledge database...and tried all the tips there... I've relogged, even uninstalled and reinstalled Second Life, and none of this has helped.
Any suggestions? Thanks in advance...

I think that error message is supposed to mean that SL is having problems, not your system.
However, what it is that you've tried from the KB?
