Loss of House, Objects and Land

hey all,

On friday (it could be thursday PST) I began to bulid a two story building in Perry 146,88. It was blue and silver, and had a large gold harp and large spa / pool top on the top floor.

I logged in on Sunday (probally Sat PST) and my buliding had gone, and the land was returned to public.

The items weren't in my inventory, either in the lost & found or trash. My money was at the same level as when I left on Friday, about $9,000, so I wasn't refunded.

I IM'd Ben Linden and informed him, and logged a Bug Report, and he said the server could have crashed and been restored to a date that was before I built.

That's fair enough, but still having lost that land and buliding and objects is pretty upsetting.

I was wondering if anyone else in Perry had stuff disappear in this time span, and what I can do to get objects and land back, or at least the monetary value (about $4,000) of the objects.

I don't know if this is really related, but I had a similar problem in the campgrounds. I bought a tent and land a couple days ago. Yesterday, I meant to go and release the land and sell the tent. I was trying to release the land when the server crashed. When I got back, the land was public, and the tent was gone. I don't think I got any cash from this, and I see nothing in the account history (should I?). I wish I could give more details.

I don't miss the money much, and I was leaving the land and the tent anyway, but I'm here to report this kind of stuff, so I thought I would, and take the opportunity to write a really run-on sentence while I was at it ;-)

You need to file a bug report and estimate your object cost. The 12x12 plot was 432.00 and the tent was 400.00 to rez.
Just add whatever other objects you has rezed at the time.

Last night the server crashed and rolled back to Friday morning. feniks was cooking and although we all knew her cooking would kill an av, we had no idea it could kill an entire sim.

Believe it or not, I just now figured out how to make a bug report. I thought this was were you reported.

I guess I never go to the Help Menu. :-/

I'll file them in-world from now on :-)
