LL has not updated their page in a very long time, so none of the new Nvidia cards are listed.
Given the specs of the card, I would expect SL to run at High settings on a GT 240. A GTS 250 should run at High to Ultra given its extra cores and wider memory bus.

More question on graphics card
01-04-2010 18:28
Hi,
I'm wondering whether a ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4650 is suitable for running SL? I'm deciding between this and the NVIDIA Quadro but Quadro is listed as not tested under the System Requirements. Any advice on whether it will work? Which graphics card will be better?
Thanks!

Quadro cards are designed for workstations...at the same price you can get a much better geforce for SL and gaming, unless you need the quadro for CAD or other rendering that is optimized for them. The ATI will run (probably on high to ultra on 4600 series, although I don't know ATI cards as well as Nvidia), although it may be more work initially to set up. For the money, I would look at an Nvidia GTX 260 as a affordable card that will run SL on max for the foreseeable future at a reasonable price, unless you have another application that you need a quadro for. Quadros are not listed as supported by LL, but they are designed for good OpenGl support, so there should be no major problems.

Thanks! I found through some reading online regarding the ATI Mobility HD 4650 and SL. If you insist on using this card, make sure to disable "Enable VBO" setting in the Graphics options under Hardware Options. You will find that with this setting checked, SL will literally crawl so bad even on the lowest detail. If you uncheck Enable VBO, the framerate is hugely different, and from what I can tell, not a highly noticeable difference in graphics quality.
