I've been trying to get my Second Life to work for a couple of months now. (It used to work with old drivers but now when I've finally cleaned my comp I don't feel like using them anymore).
I have ATI Radeon 9600 and Catalyst Drivers 9.3. (I don't have Catalyst Control Center because it just gives me errors).
I've read here on the forum that disabling Catalyst AI could help, I've done that with help of ATI Tray Tools but my SL still won't start.
It closes on starup after doing some initializing.
All help is appreciated!

It used to work with old drivers I believe you've answered your own question. I was messing around with a 9600XT recently, and that's what I had to do to get it to work. _____________________

Well that's unfortunate, but I guess that's what I have to do since this doesn't seem to work at all! Thank you! So I ended up installing the 8.7 drivers (which are the last ones that works for me as far as I know). And now it works. |
