~Anyone Else Having This Problem?~

For the past month I have had major problems crashing. For whatever reason I am crashing when I click on things. Such as: Clicking on something to edit it, clicking on search or profiles, or even going into appearance. It is quite random but now is happening more frequently and just now I have crashed 8 times in a row, just when trying to edit an object, any object. This happens on any sim as well.


Another recent problem is that my avatar is having issues rendering properly. I have what appears to be black leggings on yet they don't come off when I remove all clothing. This is also reproduceable on any sim. I was given a couple work arounds such as unchecking palletized textures in the advanced menu, which does temporarily work, but this isn't really acceptable to do everytime I log on, or relog due to the severe crashing.



I run WIn XP, have plenty of ram etc and I have a Nvidia 9600 GeForce 9600 GT video card that has worked wonderfully since I got it about 5 months ago. Until recently of course. I have uninstalled and reinstalled SL, all my drivers and pc have been updated. I have sent in trouble tickets and have been told to clear my cache, reinstall, that it is a lag/internet issue, and the latest was that my video card is too new for SL. Funny cuz it worked fine until the past month and I am not experiencing any issues with my internet and lag is not the problem, so I have no clue what is going on and neither does LL apparently. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I can't keep track of which models will let you use older drivers, but if yours will let you, try 175.19 .

Also you might try the latest Release Candidate viewer, or the Cool Viewer or the Nicholaz viewer.
