Lindens please consider this...
I have in the course of 2 months lost much $.
Too much to calculate, due to sim rollbacks. Somewhere in the 3 to 5K range.
If I have to pay real $ to keep SL and go broke in SL it will definatly be no fun and could ultimatly end up in a loss of interest in the game.
As of yet I have not recieved reimbursment even tho I have made bug reports.
I'm sure many others will be curious about this.
Losing 3 to 5k can effect everyone differently. As its not a big hit to those who have alot of money but to those that don't it hits a bit hard.
EDIT: I have contacted Lindens inworld, and hardly ever get reimbursed. The last time I was reimbursed for a loss was back when I had the castle with Lyn and Jean in Hawthorn, which was a long time ago. Since then I have lost between 3 to 5k total due to many crashes. Everytime I am told to do a bug report it ends up not responded to, and no reimbursement.
But still is a loss for anyone, and could turn into a loss of interest in a great thing like SL.

i've lost money too, but nowhere near 3000. and it was never enough for me to care very much. it definitely irks me though that theres no way to get it back. it actually bothered me more that i lost some of my work though.
i've heard that you have to somehow prove what you've lost. how would we do that?

A good while ago I lost about $3,500 from de-rezing too many things at once. Filed a bug report and told a linden who said 'Oh, don't do that'.  Never saw any money back from it though. That was about 4 months ago (Jan). I'm doing well enough that it doesn't really bother me but I think Charlie is right. Granted mine was a bug not a sim roll back. |

I lost three ths a week ago and made a bug report, it was sort of a roll back and something else, it was very weird to much to retype. i reported it and got no money i was pretty upset as well I have a ton of money but just the fact that some of it disapeared irkd me, well the next night i was goofing around and placed three thos dollars worth of penguins and other things out. Something happend with the system and I cant recall all the events but I ended up earning money, so it balanced it out how I had lost it.
but I agree Its pretty silly to be starting to pay in June when this is going on, its seems like a very serious problem considering its kind of what makes the game go 'round.
