Object will not rez or wear

I have a dance chimera (the free one named chimera.) I have been using it, took it off and rezzed to add dances. Put them in. picked it up, and now it will not rez nor am I able to wear it. Any ideas what may have happened or what I can do to make it work or get the dance animations out of it?

I have been having similar problems... Log out and back in seems to fix it for me.

Sometimes going to a different sim fixes that. Sometimes the asset servers are just hosed.

How long have you had the problem?

The problem occurred Thursday, Nov 25. I have gone to another sim. I'll try going to even another.

Sometimes by dragging from your inventory and placing on the floor when you take it back into inventory it "forgets" where it's attached. Try attaching again instead of wearing.

It will not attach anywhere. I can't wear it; can't attach it; can't rezz it. Never had this problem before.

Do you remember or know where the chimera was originally attached? I'm just going to throw out a suggestion that maybe you have not tried.....if you have then I'm about out of ideas.

I'm sure you know some devices such as huds are attached to your UI such as "upper right", "lower left", etc. Some are attached to a body part such as "left pec" or "right hip". My Huddles is attached to "upper left", my flight feather is attached to "lower left" and my radar is attached to "lower right".........all UI attachment points. My walk replacer is attached to "right pec"........a body attachment point. Have you tried attaching to both a UI attachment point and a body? It might be that you are trying to attach to the wrong place.

edit: when you say it won't rez, do you mean that nothing seems to happen or that you get an error?

It still won't rez and I can't wear it. When attempting to rez it I got an error message.

Sorry. Was out of town for a bit. And I rezzed it again to get the exact message; and it worked this time. I guess the asset server must had had a glitch for a while. Thank you everyone for your assistance.
