Is there a solution when you receive an error such as this? "Unable to attach. Item missing from database." Is that item missing for everyone who has bought it, or is only my particular copy of the item missing? And how do I retrieve it?

I have this right now with a shoe base. I was wearing it when I logged off and now it says missing from database. No copy, too

You can send a support ticket. I've had the problem in the past and it reappeared all on it's own. So I guess a Linden is watch these types of errors and fix them even without a ticket. The Lindens have a status notice out that they are aware of this problem: http://status.secondlifegrid.net/2009/08/30/post731/
