I'm trying to clear SecondLife cache in Application Data on C:\ but read that you must be careful what you delete. I have alot of files (I use SL alot!) some seem more disposable than others. GUIDANCE NEEDED please!

In Cache Folder when you open it I have:
----- a 'Textures' Folder (contains a file icon called texture.entries and lots and lots of numbered and lettered folders containing numbered File icons averaging about 9.76KB)
----- and 333 Files icons: most of these are labelled 'objects' with extension .slc ranging in size from 800KB-1.93MB for example....
But there area also some different ones
CACHED_MUTE File,
GZ File (extension .inv.gz),
14192... (data.db2...) which is 100MB,
14192... (index. ...)
CACHE File (name.cache)
CACHE File (texture.cache) which is 79.9MB
ENTRIES File (texture.entries) which is 3.19MB

My virus scan it takes approx 5+mins searching through these files so I'd really like some help with what I can or can't delete without causing SL problems.

THANKS :)

From within SL:
Edit > Preferences > Network > Clear Cache

Actually, you can just delete the entire "Cache" folder and SL will create a new one the next time you start SL.
