Any new scripts compiled are entirely dead after saving on more than one account/computer. They don't function in any shape, form, or fashion. Including the "New Script" template! Existing precomiled scripts work fine. What gives.

Give it ten minutes, they're saving, just not compiling. It's something wrong with the asset server.
