I lost all my default textures, somewhere around the 1.5 update. I only just noticed. I asked some random ppl in world.
Some still have all, some are missing some textures.
The folders are still there (Buildings, Dirt, Fabric etc) but they are all empty.
I cant even change plywood to brick...
Is there somewhere I can get them? Or how can I fix it? Reinstalling SL didnt help....

Scroll all the way up. See that Library folder? They're there. You'll have to copy the ones you want into your inventory.

Great! Tnx!
Any idea why there werent in My Inventory anymore?
I should pay more attention to the Library ;)

Edit: is there an easy way to do that? My Inventory is too long to have both Library and Textures visible at the same time... I have to drag each texture all the way down...

All of the stuff given to new users was moved to the library folder, probably to save on redundant references in each resident's inventory.

You can open multiple inventory windows. Just open the first menu in the inventory window and select "New Window". This can help with origanizing and such.

You do not have to copy the texture out of the library and into your personal inventory in order to use it. Library textures do not show up in the texture picker, but drag and drop texturing works fine.

Also, if you want to copy an item from one place in your inventory to another far away place go to the top of the inventory window and choose File, New Window. Then drag between the two windows.

And for those of us who don't use drag and drop texturing, we need to copy it into our inventory in order to use it.
