Exceeded the amount of accounts?

So, tonight I decided to create an alt account.

I tried three times. The first two times, it simply said that the registration failed. Try again or contact support. So I tried, and tried again.

The third time, it said I exceeded the amount of registrations I'm allowed. However, the first two I tried, they didn't work! I checked my e-mail, tried to log in, nothing. Anyone experience this?

You should only get this if you have created other alts on the same email. I think you can only create up to 5 alts per each email address. I think If you create more than 50 alts (different emails), you will get banned from SL.
