I have been trying to login for a while now and I keep getting a login error..

Login Failed
The system is logging you out right now. Your account will not be available until 2009-02-13 2:32:22 now fair enough but I have received this same notice since it was 2:13:42 it just keeps going up in time all the time..

Is anyone else having login problems?

This indicates an account that's gotten "stuck" partway logged out.

Get a friend to IM your account and see if that pushes it through. You can use an alt if you have one.

I have found that changeing my login place (home vs last place) will often defeat this issue. Not always but most of the time.

last time this happened to me it took 3 calls to LL support to get it resolved. I had an alt sign on and could see me at my last location. I tried ejecting me but even that didn't work.

LL eventually had to restart the sim to get me off line

Yes, I had that happen once, many years ago. I tried pushing myself into another sim to solve the problem (I was new and naive) but all that did was turn me phantom (I assume the sim handoff failed).

Tia. My account is having problems again. Worst thing I cant file a ticket cause support portal wont load. I have been stuck at logging in screen of the loading screen since last night, about 6am SLT. I don't get an error. Only got it twice so far. Most of the time I just shut the game and restart after being stuck for a while...

I was able to log in after 4 hrs last night though when my fren asked a LL fren to clear my account, something along the lines of log me off.. But I cant log in when I tried today again. Its been 3 hrs... Im pissy!!!!!

Have you been on and off stuck at connecting to region while loading game these few days?
I think out account servers are SCREWED, FIRED! BLEH!

edit: DRATS its the connecting to region issue again. I left the thing on for a longer period of time AND BAM. connecting to region and stuck again.. STOOPID LL. and I'm already logging in VIA pooley SMACKS LL!

I have got this 3 times now. and the lindens had to reset the last sim I was in to fix it two of the times.
now I am now having it a 3ed time. This is nuts.

Elegant proof that it's not sim related

Were this a sim issue, the first reset should have corrected the problem. A simple matter of then logging in to a different location ... Home should do if you were not already.

By the 3rd repeat of this action, and seeing the number of posts here from presumably different locations, leads one to think that there is either a NOC issue, or your avatar's "home" asset server not registering that you have disconnected.

Being on the sim our wonderful Mr. Steed is in limbo on, having crashed a few times there myself during his episode, and having succesfully reloged both back to that sim and home, I can safely arrive at the conclusion that the simulator itself is not at fault.
A monitoring of the main agents represented there, and a quick head count, confirms that he is indeed not on the sim. an IM to him since he IS apparently logged in, and it is **not** met with a "user offline" message lends further credence to the home asset server, or a NOC issue dropping packets containing disconnect or logout information being the culprit.

The mere repitition in this case of the sim reset behavior proving further that is not the solution.

Welcome to the forums.

Unfortunatly none of those things disprove it. This is an old and widespread known issue. And despite all those things it still fits.

Note: Not posting this as an attack, just to keep the thread from being confusing.
