Sorry to start yet another chrash thread....but I have been unable to find any tips that works for my problem. In short, I get about 5 mins on SL before chrashing - I will chrash when panning the camera, when TPing, when rebaking, dressing etc.

I have the Lenovo X300 with 2GB RAM, plenty of free disk space, the Intel Mobile 965 Graphics chipset. I run the SL wiever vs. 1.20.15 with minimum graphics setting (I think it is a graphics problem, but I am not sure here). I also run it in a 1024x765 window (full screen low res mode does not work).

Here is what I tried so far:

- Updating my graphics drivers through the Lenovo site
- Updating DirectX
- Uninstalling Quicktime
- Disabling occlusions in the Setting.xml file

Any tips or tricks to try would be wonderful - especially if you have good experience with the X300. Thanks in advance :)

The problem is the INTEL GRAPHICS.

SL does not work on Intel/built in graphic chipsets.

Well, it does run, but you are experiencing first hand how poorly.

Update to the graphics driver on the Intel website.

Second Life should be stable on the 965, if not terribly performant (indeed, Intel's new driver allows all of the shader effects to work in SL).
