Hi. I have problem with my new card Gainward nVidia 8600GT. When I run SL I see error massage:
"Second Life is unable to run because your video card drivers are out of date or unsupported. Please make sure you have the latest video card drivers installed".
I tested new and older drivers and still the same. I reinstalled SL viewer too. SL was OK on my old card 7300. I don't know what's going on. Anybody help me?

I run a pair of MSI 8600GT cards and got that message once. Just once, randomly, and it never came back. I don't remember doing anything to really fix it, but I think the message went away around the same time I updated DirectX for other reasons. (^_^)y

I updated DirectX yestarday too. I have the newest now but it's still the same massage.
I tested run SL on other viewers too. The same massage. I don't understand it. |

Are you using a Gainward specific driver or did you try getting Forceware directly from Nvidia? (o.o)

Something is just not right... For fun, try adding this to the end of the command line in your SL shortcut...
--noprobe That will turn off hardware probing and possibly any hardware incompatibility warnings you may be getting. (^_^)y _____________________
