Okay ... just about whenever I start up SL version 1.19.1(4), it informs me that I don't have the latest version of SL and must install version 1.19.1(4). Re-installing it solves the problem until the next time I close SL, whereupon I have to go through the whole thing over again. Any one have any idea what the problem is? ^^;

Are you downloading the SL program to your hard drive then installing from that download or are you using the auto update to get the new viewer? Saving to your hard drive and installing from there is probably the best way. Also, make sure you uninstall SL before you install from your drive. Another thing that probably would help is to do a search of your system for anything Second Life and manually delete it after you uninstall and before you reinstall SL.
Try those things......see if it helps.

... oh. Ahaha. I see what I did there: It seems that, at some point, I was installing the latest versions to a different hard drive from the one I'd originally installed it to, and then trying to run it from the older version. I r smrt! *scampers off and hides*
