Well for every 1 minute of normal run, I am encountering anywhere from 2-5 minutes of solid not able to move lag.
I think you all need to have everyone re-load 1.5 and declare 1.6 a failure.

Looks to me like its my 8th hop. Blue Linden told me there are enough of us experiencing it that they are looking into it.

Don't know about 1.6.3 because I can't install it. But 1.6.4 has a massive memory leak, which I reported as a bug yesterday. This is something which might produce more and more local lag the longer you're logged in.

WELCOME TO MY WORLD HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!
....Sorry. ![]() Until they fix the massive lag problem for everyone, I suggest you start turning off rendering you're not using in the Debug menu. Even if you have particles off in Preferences, turn rendering for it off in Debug. It WILL make a difference. Also turn off Bump, Water, Tree, Grass, Clouds, and sometimes Ground and Sky if you're indoors and can't see them anyway. Turning Alpha off is REALLY good for lag, but it makes everything ugly, so I usually save it as a last resort. I usually turn off rendering for Particles, Bump, Water, Grass, Clouds, and Trees as soon as I log into SL now, because I've always had massive lag problems, and it's been even worse recently. Anyway, by doing that, you may save yourself a relog or two, so go ahead and give it a try. ![]() _____________________

Also in the uk with no problems with lag as described, just the usual build lag etc. Thought this trace might help.

Lag? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Try flying! It's a joke. Hanging around in mid-air while the rezzing catches up with you every couple of metres. Yeh, sure is a quick way of getting around. NOT.

Thats not lag, that your network limitation, check your network tab and see if you still got it limited to 300kbps, and then try it at 1000kbps.
Of course if your on capped braodband this setting is good but if your on uncapped broadband or cable then why cap yourself at 300kbps? |

They have to do a complete over haul of this system:
-Put up more servers for connections -Have different worlds to select -Stop sending them damn auto responces that tell you to do the same thing if your guy gets deleted as when you can't login. -Have A faster tech support team -Add music and for that matter sound -Actualy read the forums like this one that I'm posting on. |
