I am having a problem recently with crashing when I DJ. Just running SL + SAM Broadcaster, usually about 1.5 hours into my set my mouse will suddenly start to slow down, then my sound starts looping and then my whole machine will freeze for about 4 minutes. It does come back, but my stream goes down in the meantime, and usually SL is non responsive when it does, various things including chat do not work, and it will happen again soon after, so I am better off doing a restart and then I am ok for the rest of the session.
Certain venues seem ok - it is ones with a lot of flashing lights and textures, I think, that do it. One particular venue I can rely on having one crash every single time I play. It's getting really aggravating. Up until this point the game will be running really smoothly and there is no warning.
My system specs:
Intel Core 2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40GHZ
4GB RAM
Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2
NVIDIA Geforce 8600 GT 512MB
Restarting my machine before I play seems to delay the problem occurring but it still happens.
Any thoughts MUCH appreciated!

Only one suggestion, pick up a pci/e soundcard, and drop onboard -_-? not very usefull but onboards are horrible.
You could probably update chipset driver wich affect onboard sound, i had major nuisance with my older sblive/audigy4 cause of ingame audio streams / movies, crash me so randomly, and its soundcard drivers alright, but creatives drivers are shoddy, and i refuse to use onboard :> euw bad sound.
So now i just grab parcel url and run it in winamp instead, cause sims tend to crash, winamp dont die just cause of sim did so can still hear.
How to crash me fast, turn on media stream, change parcel url a few times and auto start it every time, it will crash me every time, quite fun when you have a movie at some parcel wich change to diffrent url after awhile, i have media on, you bet i will crash cause of it, dont have it on?, never crash, easy stay 15~27 hours in SL.
But i relog now and then cause its bogged down -.- duh.

I don't tend to listen to the media stream in game - I listen to it as it's coming out of SAM, as that way I can better time any shoutouts/song changeovers. SO I don't think it's the media stream in SL that is causing the crashing. ANd it's my WHOLE machine that freezes..not just SL
