Hi folks,
Id like to start a log thread about the sim called Solbitgil, as it has been plagueing my busy club with unexpected blowouts for months on end.. (well not so unexpected anymore after a while..) Just to show im not kidding, As I am typing this im waiting for Solbitgil to come online again after crashing for the 5th time the past hour. Its not always THAT bad, but I have atleast 1 every hour.
My club is called Sumos Playpen in the Sky, and is located on a corner parcel of Solbitgil, the size of 8192sqm. It is a mature club thats been pulling in enough traffic to have the sim filled up for about 75% of the time (The rest of the time its recovering from the last crash I guess). Its currently generating roughly 40.000 in traffic.
Ive had a friend of mine in the US try to call customer support but she got hung up on, Ive sent litterally hundreds of emails to support@secondlife.com, and ive been trying to reason with people on the Help Request IM channel, but to no avail. I feel like im beeing completely ignored. The best I can get them to do is come look at the sim, wait for a minute or 2, and have a nice "Regeon will be restarting in 2 minutes" dialog slapped on my screen, only to see the roughly 35 people at my club sweeped out the door for the nth time of the day.
I honestly dont know what to do anymore here.. This is a cry for help if theres anyone out there who might be able to tell me wich hole in this rat maze I should take to get to the hunk of cheese ive been paying my hardearned 50usd a month for.
So is there anyone out there who knows what I should/could do?

He's not kidding about the crashes, but there's more. Monstrous lag, failure to teleport in and out, it's just turning into a nightmare.

OMG Solbitgil seriously needs some attention. either the hardware it runs on or the network its feeding through needs work becuase this is rediculous. I am sick of getting thrown to other random sims because my fave cant stay online for whatever the reason may be.

He's right. I haunt Sumo's (or attempt to) but the intense lag coupled with the crashes makes it difficult. It is a very popular place, but Sven will start losing custom as people get frustrated. This just isn't good enough for a sim that apparently promotes business. Can it get looked into asap please?

CS from LLAbs is just at times.....A joke. Some people have waited weeks for a reply. I had a dealing with CS and i was not replied back to for 3 weeks and they still never solved my issue.
I had a excerience that they had a retro fitted server funning the sim i was incharge of. If always lagged when we had 40. It was the worse experience i had. until a few days these 7 days.....Keep calling CS be nice be direct. If they don`t help you then just keep trying.

Sumo's is a fantastic place to meet people, but it's being treated horribly. Our holographic room is now down. It's lame.
I love this place!

From: Sven Okonomi So is there anyone out there who knows what I should/could do? If you're still having trouble - not to be mean, but you might want to take a look at the devices you're running in your club and see if maybe they're causing the problems. See if you can find a patron who knows about scripting and ask them to look at some of your stuff and see if there are any poorly written scripts that could be the culprit. You own only 8192 sq.m. and you're filling up the sim? Boy, I bet your neighbors hate you! If business is that good, you might consider buying and moving to a private island, where you'll have more and better tools to manage the sim, and access to the Linden concierge service for extra help.

Only thing I can say to this is, if you are regularly filling the sim with an 8192 plot, you're already getting a way bigger hunk of cheese (to the tune of 8x bigger) than what you're paying for. I'm sure the inhabitants of the other 57k of that sim, that also pay their hard earned monthly tier yet can't even set foot on the sim to get to *their* land when you have it full just LOVE you.
