Connection problems?

Hello,
I'm having a problem with my new pc. It happens that I can't cross the sim borders and I can't watch over the borders, teleports hardly work too.
Could it be a connection problem (actually I use a firewire port instead my old USB port) or do you think it's a second life problem and I should open a ticket?

Not being a laptop person I can't say much about any particular brand. I'm guessing that "AW" is Alienware? My understanding is that Alienware is a fairly high end computer (both the desktop and laptop lines) so I will simply say it's expensive........1000 pounds is close to 2000 USD!!!. On the 9600......it's fully capable of running SL at near max settings. That assumes the rest of the computer is up to the task.

Keep it cool........you'd cry if it burned it up in a couple months. Get a cooling pad......a good one.
