SL 1.20.17 client resets video resolution

When I run the 1.20.17 client, or any 1.20.* client, it resets my video resolution to 640x480 and disables my second monitor. Even if I manually reset my resolution, the SL client refuses to expand more than 640x480.

I cleared the cache and set the graphics level to Low before running the install.

What else can I do?

BTW, I have installed the latest version of the driver for my video card, an ATI Radeon X600.

SL 1.17 worked just fine, but SL 1.20 screws up my computer.
