Today, Tues (August 31st)..yes the day 1.5 was released I decide to try out some party lights I bought. So I add them and turn them on...and now I'm constantly crashing on my property. If someone can see if they experience the same that would be awesome. I don't know what to do...I can't turn them off!

Until I added these lights on my property I had absolutely no crashes in 1.5! If anyone knows how to turn the lights off that would be helpful as well.
Thanks.

Update...

Okay...well I was finally able to turn them off..from really far away using zoom. So I guess this is solved...for now...I didnt need lights anyway. They actually weren't that attractive.
I'll have to see if this occurs if I go to a place with lots of lights. Or if it is just these specific lights.

What make and model of CPU, motherboard, RAM and video card do you have?
Do you have local lighting turned on in Preferences > Display? If so, do you have the problem when you disable it?

I have a MAC G4 Dual 867, 1.25 Gig RAM, ATI 9800 (128MB VRAM), M-AUDIO Revolution 7.1 Audio card, running Mac OSX 10.3.5
I have turned off Local Lighting and have been unable to reproduce the crash so far, however I have been able to play around in and with the lights with it on as well. It just seems to crash everyonce in a while in the lights or when I turn on/off the lights.
Thanks for the concern, I'll let you know of anything I can figure out. I'll also take a look at my crash logs and see if there is anything that looks odd.
Thanks

**EDIT: As soon as I posted this and returned to SL...I walked around a bit under the lights...and CRASH (so it looks like it is occuring with Local Lights off.)
