Every time I go to login my inventory either doesen't download at all or it takes a really long time to finally download. This is pretty annoying to have to wait for it to download. I have noticed something though. If you have this problem check the sim you are currently on and see if it's lagging any. If it is move to a region with very little lag and usually your inventory will download. Just can't see how if only 100 people average a night can bog down the servers that much how will this game handle many many people? I wonder.

I had the same problem this afternoon in De Haro. After trying a few different things I solved it by walking over to De Haro and relogging.

I've had the same problem. I too am concerned about SL's readiness to handle a large influx of new people. At this point I suppose all we can do is hope for the best.

Ditto, Im quite worried about the situation reguarding the amount of lag experianced on crowded sims, and the more-then-occasional lag-related problems (object inventory not downloading properly, avitar inventory taking long to load, people floating off world or under world, and anomolys like loosing an object one has worked for 5+ hours on (hint hint Lindens!!)). What I would like to know is how these things exactly work. Avitar Inventory download sometimes is instant, and sometimes it takes 10 minutes IW to download. I really hope this is a problem with SL's internal code rather then the network subsystem that handles users. If more users come into SL this problem could get worse. (however I doubt its the network subsystem, since most WWIIOL'ers moved out causing a massive outrush of people from SL). (btw, any linden out there look in your email! I pleaded with support@linden.com to bring back my map! I really worked hard on it!) -Christopher Omega (currently a slave to the OmniNet project)
