I experienced the 'being sucked into an endless black hole' error again tonight, I haven't used this new version more than a couple of times so I suspect it'll happen more. Has this problem been worked on/fixed/already addressed again or anything? Haven't kept up on those release notes... thanks.

(intel 800mhz, 256mb ram, geforce4 mx420, msn broadband, winxp pro, latest sl ver.)

I've experienced this as well, but I don;t know if it's the system or just lag .. ?

Bump.

It seems to happen when you've been flying long distances. Like when I leave my garden in Perry to go visit Xavier in the Outlands, I usually end up flying away.

This seems to happen to me a lot, but I just need to be flying into the next server... My map will still have the server I lost control in lit up, but I'll be a zillion servers away... I've had this problem ever sence I started SL.

That never happened to me, but then again....

2.8 GhZ P4 Alienware, GeForce 4 Ti 4600 128 MB, Audigy 2 SC.

Oh yeah, 5.1 Creative Digital speakers.

We both have the same OS though. So strange...

it has something to do with latency i think... what happens with me is i'll go flying off for a while, but the map will be highlighting the sim that i lost control in... if i let myself go flying long enough, i'll suddenly "pop" back to the sim i lost control in, and everything will be back to normal...

I don't have the patience for that so I just teleport home. :D
