Every time I start SL, I have to change all my preferences.

I thought it was registry related, but after double checking that, I don't think it is.
Some other research leads me to believe it has something to do with an .XML file in app_settings.

Does anyone have any idea?

EDIT: I thought I had fixed it with some reinstalls, but that still didn't do it. It only saves some settings, now.

EDIT: With a little troubleshooting, it's looking like it's not editing the settings.xml file anymore, or creating a new one when I change the extension on the old one.

Gonna bump this one for serious frustration.
And because support refuses to help.

It SEEMS to be fixed-

I changed the permissions for the app data folders in the Properties / Sharing tab. Allowed everything. Then unchecked Read Only on said folder.
