hello everyone! I know this issue has been talked about before but it's still going on. Clothes not loading when I know I have clothes on. And it's not just me.
3 of us went to an event last night and everyone said my friend wasn't wearing clothes. Hmmm he was fully dressed, I swear!!
Then later another friend got stopped because her shirt wasn't showing up. This is a daily thing with different ppl and get pretty annoying when you buy new clothes and you're the only one that can see them

Can we get a little help here? Please.........

Yes and try to explain to a customer that there's nothing wrong with an item they purchased that wont load. :(

I'm sooo glad you posted about this Billie!

It's quite unsettling to think I'm fully dressed but no one else can see it. Especially when I pay good money for my fabulous outfits. :)

Please let's get this issue taken care of.

Yup, we're working on this one. Haven't cracked it yet, though.

yeah, I've had the same problem - I look totally clothed, and someone's seen me naked.

I've even got a snapshot someone took of me whilst I thought I was clothed and to them I was naked.

I'm getting paranoid now. Walking around dressed, everythings fine then someone takes my pic. How cool!
they send me the pic and i'm topless!!!

Now I gotta ask ppl. "Am I dressed?"

Possibly related to this bug is one that I continually run into: my butt is much bigger than it should be -- in a "Shallow Hal" kind of way.

Basically I see my butt nice and small (we're talking second life, yes) and well covered by whatever skirt(an object attached to pelvis) I'm wearing.

But others see two cheeks sticking out. I've seen the photos -- it's not pretty. (hehe well, okay, they're pretty-- just too big) Not everyone sees them though -- I've asked people and some see me correctly.

Maybe my body part geometry settings are not loading on other clients and a default geometry being used?

Nicola,

That's really interesting...and a completely new and different bug. Does it happen reliably, or only every so often?

Please send a bug report with attached pictures (of both right right and wrong appearance) to support@lindenlab.com. (Normally, I would ask you to use the in-world bug reporting tool, but since you'll need to add multiple attachments, email is the way to go.)

Thanks!

So, Nicola has to ask people to take pictures of her butt...

Everybody now: "I.like.big.butts.and.I.can.not.lie.."

Umm.. ok, so does anybody else ever see their scalp under their hair when they look down? Only happens when there's a wall fairly close behind me.

<G> Oh great, they'll make a SL rogain, but wouldn't make a SL no-doze?

Actually, I used to be treated to the view of my scalp every few seconds, back when I was a narcolep. At least now it's only when I purposely look down or actually set myself into away mode while there's a wall near my back. (Yes, I have actually set myself away *on purpose* *once* =)

Looked fine to me but not them!

Well, wouldn't you know, yesterday I just had to clean out my inventory, which included some photos of my butt cheeks taken by certain wiseacres. The photos had names like "Sweet Cheeks" and "Nice Butt" and I just didn't need them hanging around.

But tonight I will venture out with my shorty-skirt and ask people how my butt looks. I asked one or two people last night, but the moon was right and my butt was its normal pert-y self.

Billie, it's good to hear it's not just me with some weird SL body-image thing. Is there an SL therapist yet? :)

oh yes and thanks for the Sir Mix-a-lot now in my head for the rest of the evening. It'll be theme song as I look for the innocenti to take snaps of my derriere.

Why, yes there is. Come see me at Turtlemoon Consultancy (or IM me privately) and we can set up an appointment for an evaluative session.

Body/avatar issues and life-acclimation are important things in Second Life. We take them seriously - and confidentially.

This happens to me too hehe :P its like i'm so close to myself, that i'm peering down through my hair to my scalp. It only happens however when i'm in a confined space :)
