ack! this is driving me nuts..

here is the deal.. some help would be appreciated.. Since the release of 1.14 I have had major issues with searching my inventory.. Maybe its not the upgrade... maybe just coincidence.. anyway.. No matter what version of the viewer I use now.. it crashes when I search inventory..

But the viewer doesnt crash.. it seems like the OS drops the network connection.

In order to resolve the issue under XP, I added a new network card. no luck... I updated drivers for the old on-board NIC.. no luck.. I updated BIOS.. nope.. still crashed..

then I installed VISTA under a new drive.. so I had a clean install.. updated the crap out of everything.. still crashes at the exact same place... its like a network search just overwhelms the NIC layer or something and causes it to drop.. Windows thinks Im offline... and of course I lose my SL connection..

new OS, new NIC card, new drivers, all versions of viewer... same results..

any clue??? I miss SL... please help!

How many items in inventory? Maybe there is a hard limit.

Maybe someone who cruises the viewer source code can offer some suggestion.
