Oh boy do I hope someone can help. Ok so here's the thing, for the past few weeks I've run into issues with crashing when I leave either my home sim or the sim where my store is located. This started happening right after I updated my Emerald viewer. Ok so I figured it was Emerald and tried using the standard SL viewer, that didn't work either. So, I downloaded SnowGlobe & the Release Candidate and neither of those would work either. Same issue, when I'm home or my store I'm fine but I try to leave and I crash everytime. This is happening on both of my computers, one's a desktop and the other's a laptop. Nothing I've tried is working, albeit I'm not very technical but I've tried everything I can think of. If anyone has any words of advice or suggestions I would greatly appreciate it.

Can be a problem with to many attachments or to many scripts in your hear.
Detach everything from your avatar.
All attachments, huds, ...
Try to look as a newbie.

If you can tp now try adding the attachments one by one and wait until you crash again when you tp to another sim.
Then you know what attachment is giving problems

Do you actually crash or do you loose your connection to the servers? Finding yourself suddenly and unexpectedly at your desktop or getting an error message that SL is not responding would be a crash. Endlessly stuck in a tp with the progress bar staying in one spot.......sometimes getting an SL message saying you have been logged off, would indicate you are loosing your connection. Another loss of connection indicator is that walk to never never land.

If you are loosing your connection (which is sounds like to me) try resetting your modem and router. Simply unplug from the electrical source and leave unplugged for about 3 to 5 minutes.......plug back in. It's not absolutely necessary to shut your computer down but it helps to re-establish the network connection if you do.

To Zoha: I've done just that and I still crash.

To Peggy: No I don't think it's a connection thing. I tp somewhere and try to turn and I freeze up, then I get the crash blogger thingy. However I didn't try resetting my modem I will do that asap. Thank you for your suggestion.

Ok just tried rebooting my modem and it didn't work. :(

You have both a desktop and laptop doing the same thing. Is there a router in the mix? If so, bypass it and go directly to the modem and see if the problem continues. If you have an alt try logging in with that account............see if the problem continues. If you don't have an alt you can create one quite easily and it's free.

SL has been a little flakey the last few days for most everyone too. It may be that your particular setup/location is experiencing it a little worse than most......it should pass soon if that's the case (LL goes through these bouts every so often and after a few days they finally get around to fixing the problem).

You should probably try submitting a ticket too. It's possible it's something the grid monkeys are not aware of and can't fix unless they know it's happening.

Alright, bypassed my router and nothing changed. Logged in my alt, same thing. I would gladly submit a support ticket however I have a basic account, last time I attempted to submit a support ticket I never heard anything back about the issue (something different from the current issue). That being said, I'll try. Doesn't hurt I guess. This is getting frustrating for sure. Thank you for the advice, I'll gladly try just about anything to get this resolved.
