I just install Windows Vista 32 - Bit on my dell Inspiron E1505 after I got a larger hard drive.
I went to dells drivers download and downloaded the recommended video and audio drives and I'm still getting this message ......
"Second life is unable to run because your video card drivers did not install properly, are out of date or are for unsupported hardware. please make sure you have the latest video card drivers.
I don't know what to do from here.....

find out what video chipset you have and download the latest drivers from their site
companies like dell love to use drivers they do not have to spend time on tech support, they could be years old |

Yeah but I can play it on my mothers inspiron and she has a older model....
Plus my laptop was build for game play and moving watching; she custom order it off dell for my 18th birthday. but this was 4 years ago... so I don't know |

It's a discrete ATI Mobility Radeon X1400 graphics card with 256MB of dedicated memory which is so far ahead of what I'd expect to find in a Dell that I'm boggled, boggled, I tell you. That should be able to handle Second Life, really.
Try downloading the latest Catalyst from ATI.com (or is it AMD.com now?).  _____________________
